Quick Troubleshooting
Before reaching out, try these common solutions:
- Force close and reopen the app: Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-click the Home button) and swipe away the SlashScan app, then reopen it.
- Check permissions: Go to Settings → SlashScan and ensure Camera, LiDAR, and Location permissions are enabled.
- Free up storage: Ensure your device has sufficient free storage for scans and mesh data. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
- Restart your device: If the issue persists, power off your device completely and turn it back on.
- Update the app: Check the App Store for any available updates to SlashScan.

Q: Which devices are compatible with SlashScan?
A: SlashScan requires an iOS device with LiDAR sensor capability (iPhone 12 Pro or later, iPad Pro 2020 or later).
Q: How do I export my scan data?
A: Scan data can be exported directly from the app using the share button. Data is saved in .ply formats compatible with most 3D software.
Q: Does SlashScan work offline?
A: Yes! SlashScan works completely offline. All processing happens on your device.
